Single Registration

Single Registering of dogs in UKC is the resoponsiblity of the individual breed associaitons. Applications for single registration should be requested direclty from the coordinator selected by the breed association. The coordinator will send applications to those requesting them, and assign an inspector.

The coordinator and inpsector will approve the single registration for a dog if all of the following conditions are met. (1) the dog meets the official UKC standard for the breed (2) the dog proves to the inspector it's ability to strike, trail, tree, and stay treed alone with nohelp from owner or handler on wild coon in their natural habitat; and (4) the single registration fees for both the association and the UKC are enclosed (separate check must be made out for UKC and breed association fees)

There is one exception to the single registration and inspection process of the chartered breed association. Breeders who neglect to register their pups before they are one year old may single register them directly with UKC if all of the following conditions are met.

  1. The sire and dam are UKC registered
  2. The sire and dam are the same breed
  3. Both sire and dame were UKC registered at the time of breeding
  4. The breeder was the registered owner at the time of breeding and whelping of the dog to be single registered
  5. The dog meets the official UKC breed standard.

For single registration of this type, contact UKC directly
