Alan Kalal

Alan Kalal   -   President

Alan and Kristi Kalal have three children, Kylie, Logan and McKenzie. Alan is employed with an asphalt contracting company, and Kristi is a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Alan has been coon hunting for over 39 years, 38 of them with Treeing Walkers. He has raised Walkers for about 35 years and normally raises a few litters per year, if time permits. He calls his kennel Kalal’s Minnesota Treeing Walker Kennels. Some of the best hounds he has hunted with are: Dual Grand McCallister’s Finley River Banjo, Dual Grand Spring Creek Black Jack, GR NITE CH World Champion Bellar’s Pac Man, GR NITE CH Ketring’s Seven Mile Sue, GR NITE CH Kalal’s Minnesota Misty, GR NITE CH Kalal’s Minnesota Queen, Dual Grand Kalal’s Minnesota Insane Jane and Dual Grand Kalal’s Minnesota Destiny in the Wind.

His Walker highlights thus far have been: winning High Scoring Walker Female on Friday night at the 1987 Walker Days with Kalal’s Minnesota Lightning Star; winning High Scoring Dog of Friday Night, High Scoring Walker Female at the 1991 UKC Winter Classic with Kalal’s Minnesota Queen; in 2000, having Kalal’s Minnesota Destiny in the Wind win Queen of the Show at both Ada, Oklahoma, Walker Days; winning the 2000 Lee Crawford Invitational; being the very first PKC Silver Show Champion; being fortunate enough to win High Scoring Dog at 2002 Walker Days; and placing 2nd and High Scoring Female at the 2002 Lee Crawford Invitational with Dual Grand Champion Kalal’s Minnesota Insane Jane.

Elba Neat

Elba Neat   -   Vice President

Elba and his wife Evelyn have three sons, Richard, Clinton and Gary. He has brought his sons up to believe in the tradition of hunting.

He has been on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Houndsmen Association for 14 years. He is also the President of the Marion County Coon Hunters Club.

His hobbies include hunting, fishing and target shooting.

Jody Scott

Jody Scott   -   Treasurer

Jody and Angel Scott live in Halls, Tennessee, where they own and operate a floor covering business.

Jody’s family has been raising and hunting Black & Tan Coonhounds since the 1920s, but Jody started hunting with Walkers about 11 years ago. He feels the best hound he has ever followed was Black Creek Sue, and is now working with two very nice young hounds, Black Creek Hi-Ball and Black Creek Hanna.
Grant Noeske

Grant Noeske   -   Secretary

Grant Noeske currently lives in Peoria, Arizona and works as a financial analyst for a Phoenix area food processing company. He started coon hunting with his dad, Joe, at an age when he had to be carried much of the way. Together they continue to hunt on land that Grant’s grandpa starting coon hunting on nearly 100 years ago. Grant attended his first Walker Days in 1987 and looks forward to visiting with old and new friends at the event each year.

The best dogs he has owned are NITE CH GR CH ‘PR’ Noeske’s Red Oak Boss and Dual Grand Champion ‘PR’ Hicks Rock River Drifter. He was lucky enough to make it to the Finals of the UKC World Hunt with Drifter three years in a row, placing 14th in 2001.  He also placed 8th in the UKC World Hunt with Gr. Nt. Ch. Pec River Kate, a walker female owned be long-time family friend, Jerry Bowers.  He’s a member of the Northwestern Illinois Coon Hunter’s Association in Elizabeth, Illinois.

Grant credits coon hunting for providing him with a lifelong hobby that will offer friends, fun and relaxation for years to come. Serving on the TWBF&A board is just one way that he can give back to the sport and the Treeing Walker breed.
